How to View Mobile Websites on Desktop Vivaldi?
-
I'm using the desktop version of Vivaldi, and it's showing me the desktop version of websites. That's not what I want. For most websites, I want the mobile version of the site. How do I get that?

There are multiple ways to approach this, as there are multiple ways of building a "mobile version" of a website, including (but not limited to):
- Reduce the viewport area (by resizing the Vivaldi window or tiling multiple tabs - works for responsive websites).
- Zoom in the page until it switches to "mobile" view (works for responsive websites).
- Open the Developer Tools and click on the "Toggle device toolbar" (works for responsive websites, as long as the DevTools are open).
- Use an extension to change the User-Agent of a mobile device (might work on some websites, but won't work on most responsive websites).
- Try to look for the URL of the mobile version (like eg. m.youtube.com or m.facebook.com - though some might still require using other tricks, like using mobile User-Agent).
Perhaps there is an extension that could help you with viewing the "mobile versions" of websites, but since there are so many different approaches, I wouldn't expect it to work 100% of the time.
