Unable to view CNN videos
-
I am unable to view any CNN videos using Vivaldi. I have disabled all extensions and also disabled the built in ad blocker. With the ad blocker disabled the ad video plays but the desired video does not. Brave browser had a similar issue that was fixed with a recent update. Here is a link to that topic which may prove useful.

@oigg Hi, videos on CNN play fine here, tested in a clean profile of 4.2 Stable on Win10 x64, and also 4.3 Snapshot with uBlock enabled and 3rd-party cookies blocked.
Please try all the troubleshooting steps first:

Thanks Pathduck for the reply. I went through the troubleshooting steps. Running Vivaldi in a guest profile did allow the videos to play. Disabling extensions and disabling the built in ad blocker did not work. Clearing cache, history and cookies did not work. What finally did work was disabling DuckDuckGo Tracker Radar, enabling Easy Privacy, and disabling and then reenabling Easy List ad blocking in order to update it to today. Hopefully this info will prove helpful to someone else that has the same problem.

@oigg , works fine here. Disabling the extensions don't solve the issues sometimes, becaus some settings of these remains. Better is to test in a guest profile, in this way you have Vivaldi with default settings and without extensions.

I had my Vivaldi installation synched to another computer and found I had the same problem there. The problem was definitely caused by DuckDuckGo Tracker Radar. I've also used Ublock Origin in the past but I'm wanting to use the built in ad blocker in an attempt to make Vivaldi display pages closer to the speed of Brave. The only extensions I use are Bitwarden and Fakespot.
