Maximize button doesn't work properly - Arch XFCE4
-
Here's how I reproduce the bug:
- Start vivaldi-stable
- Set the window to neither maximized nor minimized state (normal? state)
- Minimize the window (by clicking on it in taskbar)
- Show the window, again (by clicking on it in taskbar)
- Now the button for the maximization shows one rectangle, telling "click me to maximize the window".
- Click on the maximization button to "maximize" it
- BUG: The window is "maximized", but the button is still telling "click me to maximize the window".
- Minimize the window (by clicking on it in taskbar)
- Show the window, agian (by clicking on it in taskbar)
- The window is properly maximized now and the button shows the proper icon.
This is obviously a bug. Please fix it.
I am using:
Vivaldi 4.1.2369.15-1
Kernel: 5.13.8-arch1-1
DE: Xfce 4.16 -
Same problem in Manjaro xfce, if you use the USE NATIVE WINDOW option the problem disappears

@gabito Thanks for supporting. However, I want to ask you to remove "the problem dissapearing" part from your response because it doesn't quite solve the problem; it rather bypasses/avoids it, which is different, but the viewers might get detracted by it thinking the problem really has a solution.
