Credit card payment autofill options missing

I don't see any credit card payment autofill options in the desktop app settings (I do see it in the mobile app.) Is CC autofill available on desktop, and is there anything I need to do to switch it on? Thanks.

Thanks @hlehyaric! That worked. I didn't realise it was a Google Chrome settings thing.

Because you need to sign in to your Google account to sync the payment settings across desktop devices, does that mean that all browsing data is shared with Google? Or is it just when the autofill feature is used?

Also, is payment autofill on Android using a separate, non Google service? I don't recall having to sign in to Goolgle on the Vivaldi Android app. But then, I don't think it syncs across Android devices either...

Just seeking some clarification about how it all works, out of interest

@malv Afaik, there's no need to sign in to Google to use that setting. I'm not sure this setting is sync across your devices using Vivaldi sync & I don't know what happens if you sign in into a Google account as I haven't got one.
Wrt Vivaldi Android, I don't know either as I barely use it (nor any other Android browsers tbh).

Ah, I think you need to sign in if you want the info to sync across devices. I haven't tested this, but just adding the info on one device doesn't make it appear on another device where you're logged in to your Vivaldi browser.

@malv Yes, you do have to be signed in to the same sync account on both devices for sync to occur.

I just tested this and found that payment info does not sync when you're signed in to your sync account on both devices. But this seems to be by design, because when adding a card to chrome://settings/autofill, it says "This card will be saved to this device only". The payment method also doesn't appear in your Google account's 'Payment methods' settings, so presumably Vivaldi's payment method settings (chrome://settings/autofill redirects to vivaldi://settings/autofill) are divorced from Google.

So there doesn't seem to be a way to sync payment methods, but at least the option is there to add them on each individual device to use autofill.
