Connection issue - re reCAPTCHA

Trying to login to a page I got this error message - Could not connect to the reCAPTCHA service. - I have tried restarting the router and the laptop and emptying the cache. But I still get this error.
I can get a reCAPTCHA link with that webpage using another browser and I can get a reCAPTCHA link with Vivaldi on another laptop using the same router and webpage.
Any ideas for a fix would be appreciated.

Do you have the same problem on a guest window or brand new profile?
Have you tried disabling the add-blocker? There have been problems with one of the sources recently (Easy List, I think). -
Thanks for this. The guest window allowed the connection and so did disabling the ad-blocker.

@tcuk This is caused by a corrupted filter line in the cached EasyList copy that Vivaldi uses. Update the blocklist by going to
Settings > Privacy > Tracker and Ad blocking > Manage Sources
, disable then reenable EasyList (under Ad blocking sources) to update it. And it should work again - even with adblocking enabled -
