Is There A Way To Copy A Video Link & Open In MPV
-
There are a couple of extensions in the Chrome Webstore that are supposed to let you just click a button, and have a YouTube video open in MPV or VLC, but none of them work with my system. I'm using Arch Linux with the i3 Window Manager, instead of a regular Desktop Manager. I suspect that this is why the 'normal' extensions will not work.
Would anyone know of a way that I can get this done in Vivaldi without the use of an extension? What I have to do now is to copy the link location, then open MPV or VLC or even SMPlayer, then input that copied link location for viewing. It's doable, of course, but a simple context menu entry or Quick Command or something like that would be a very nice alternative.
TIA!
