Tab composing on multiple display configuration works wrong?
-
Hi. I've already reported this issue, but forgot to ask on forum about it.
Has someone experienced a problem with composing a tabs to Tab Stack. When I move one tab onto another to get the Tab Stack or to add a new tab to a present Stack - this single tab opens in a separate window instead to be added to a new or a current Stack. If I moving this newly created tab from a separate window to the same Tab Stack as before - it successfully added.

@varrkan82 Do not drag the tab away from the tab bar.
Watch this short video and then practise for ten minutes.

I'm not dragging it away. I'm using this function almost an every day, but met this problem on a multiple display configuration only. On a single (internal only) display the behaviour of a function is as expected. I've tested this issue carefully a few times and it repeats for me each iteration.

Having the same issue here. The problem only occurs when using at least 2 displays. The issue happens when trying to stack or change the order of a tab, and it works correctly when using a single display.
In my current setup, I'm using a notebook + a monitor. When moving/stacking on the notebook it works just fine, but when doing it on the monitor, it opens a new window in the notebook display with the tab I'm trying to move/stack. Like described by @Varrkan82 , if I move the tab from the new window back into the original window on the monitor, it gets moved/stacked to where I first intended.@Varrkan82 have you find a solution for this?

Still no solution here. Only thing I can confirm - on a default in-built display that function works correctly. Issue happens if Vivaldi main window moved to an external display and all operations are made there.
