"This page isn't working" ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE for Local Wifi Admin portal
-
After a recent update to Vivaldi, I find I can no longer browse to my wireless controller's administrative portal, which is a Ruckus ZoneDirector and has its web pages on the box itself (i.e. it's not a Cloud-based portal). Thus, the HTML being loaded hasn't changed since the last firmware update for that box which we deployed three months ago.
The site fails to load in Vivaldi on both MacOS and Linux (I don't have a Windows PC to hand, but I can spin one up later) however it loads just fine in Firefox.
I have been through Vivaldi and cleared out the cookies relating to this site, restarted Vivaldi and the computers numerous times to no avail. Any idea how I might go about getting the site working in Vivaldi again?

@jhdore Hi, try in a clean profile.

@pathduck Yes this works, but only for a short time. I have to repeat that operation at some point, which is usually the following day when I next come to log in to my management portal once again. It's as if some old data is being retained that breaks the login process for the management portal.

@jhdore I just did a quick search and found a user reporting the same problem with Chrome 89: https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/102801469/net-err-empty-response-error-returned-from-jsp-on-zonedirector-in-chrome-as-logged-in-user?hl=en
If you open Developer Tools, you might see errors logged on the Console. However, given that this broke with Google Chrome, I suspect that Ruckus ZoneDirector will have already released an update to fix the problem.
