Adding bookmark causes crash/error

Using Vivaldi 4.0.2312.27 on Mac OS 10.12.5
I'm new to Vivaldi, and everything's been working well so far until I encountered this strange error: any time I add a bookmark, I then become unable to interact with tabs until I restart the browser.
Whichever tabs I had currently displayed remain active – videos keep playing, and I'm able to scroll and interact with features on a page (e.g. liking a video or comment). I'm also able to click on a window in the background to bring it to the front, move the window etc. However I'm not able to select a different tab, close or open tabs. I'm essentially locked into whichever tabs I happened to have open at the time.
I still seem to able to access menus and other features during this time. I haven't tested everything, but it seems like the only things which stop working are related to interacting with tabs.
Please let me know if this might be fixed, or if there's any more information I can give to help diagnose the problem.
Thanks!

Hello !
I think it must be a bug specific to the new version of vivaldi. You can download the previous version here : https://vivaldi.com/fr/download/archive/ (hoping that will solve your problem), I advise you to take version 3.8.2259 (this link will probably work for you https://downloads.vivaldi.com/stable/Vivaldi.3.8.2259.42.dmg), at least you will be sure that it will be stable.I hope it will help you !
keep me informed please

@cypherstate Does it happen in a clean profile too? (You can create a test profile from profile manager.)
Fwiw, I'm running Vivaldi on macOS 10.12.6 & doesn't experience this issue.@briegluz Please be very cautious when advising users to downgrade. Downgrading is not recommended (though it might be necessary sometimes) & it always needs to be a last resort.

i think there is no security breach in the previously version, the upgrade is just here for tools, so it's not very dangerous. I have recently downgrading on my device because vivaldi was blocked on a white screen everytime, so i'm waiting the developpers resolve this bug (sorry, i'm not sure of my sentence, i don't speak english very well)

I am using the latest release of Vivaldi on MacOS Big Sur, and have not noticed any problems so far.
