--ignore-certificate-errors no longer working
-
as of the last update to vivaldi it seems that launching vivaldi from console with
vivaldi --ignore-certificate-errors
no longer does anything, it launches the browser and begins a feed of the errors encountered in the console but the flag is ignored and it runs the same as if run without. I'm a web server admin, I frequently need to test sites in mid provision without DNS or SSL set up yet, having to create self signed certs every time for a site that I only need to confirm load on (and the fact that all browsers force redirect to https means I can't just test on http anymore...)
is there an alternative to this flag or some way to re-enable it in the new version?

@gwen-dragon said in --ignore-certificate-errors no longer working:
And do you run them on localhost on a PC or with a extra IP on a server?
I test them on remote servers. I manage the servers themselves, not the actual web dev for the sites so I don't run anything locally.

@gwen-dragon
I did and it worked, so maybe there is something more going on on the test site than just the ssl, though the only error I'm getting is the bad ssl error at present. I'll have to dig deeper, the only thing I'm finding is the browser error. the only difference is that the test site has no cert rather than a bad cert so it's possible that there was a change and ignore cert errors no longer allows for no cert, I'll have to look into it further.
