Enable not a typical port - for example 6000 (ERR_UNSAFE_PORT)

• Dear all, I hope you will be able to help and answer to a below question: How to enable some specific port like for example port 6000? I need it to access some network services which use this specific port. There is an option to allow the specific port in Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome: # Mozilla Firefox (pref("network.security.ports.banned.override", "6000"); # Google Chrome --explicitly-allowed-ports=6000 Unfortunately I wasn't able to do the same in Vivaldi. Can you kindly help me please? Thanks in advance! Attachments:

Works for me 1.0.3903. 32bit Win 10x64

If i start vivaldi.exe by desktop shortcut or in DOS box with –explicitly-allowed-ports=6000 commandline parameter with a request to my domain, the browser shows :This webpage is not available ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

That is correct because my server's firewall refuses this.

• Dear Gwen-Dragon,

my bad… I did a stupid typo... it's working like a charm! Sometimes I would use another pair of eyes :cheer:
Thanks a lot for your help, I appreciate it!

Sometimes little mistakes grow into big (but solvable) problems.

Nice to hear, that it works. 🙂
