Text highlight color with dark theme not distinguishable from background
-
Hi all,
I'm using the dark theme which looks great with the caveat that the highlight color in the URL bar and on dark web pages is often the same or just barely distinguishable from the background. I'm running Regolith Linux which is an Ubuntu flavor with i3wm.
Is there any way to change that? I've tried changing a theme but I can't change the highlight color at all.
Here's a snip from github:
If you look very closely you can see that "code" is highlighted. Here's a snip from the URL bar:
Here "support" is highlighted.
Thank you very much for any tips to resolve this issue.

@fusion44 Hi, the dark theme in Vivaldi is not "Force Dark Mode for Web Contents" in
vivaldi://flags
. What you are showing is your system's highlight, so you 'd need to change that. Or use a dark-theme extension instead of flags still in experimental state, like this one https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dark-reader/eimadpbcbfnmbkopoojfekhnkhdbieeh -
@npro , I use dark mode in flags AND Dark Reader, because I've noticed that the two together work better than each one separately. Apart Dark Mode flags also works on sites, for example in the Chrome Store, which does not get any extensions.
