Assorted issues / feedback about the updated bookmark function

#1 Some websites won't bookmark (nothing comes up when selecting the bookmark button)
Example: Random product from Jula -
#2 Now bookmarks are added to the top of the list, instead of the button. WHY! It messes up my whole system. Anyone know if this can be changed?

#3 No memory when bookmaring; before it automatically selected the last used folder. Now I have to scroll through a lot of folders to find the right one, every time.
Solution: Have a button to toggle between old and new bookmaring systems, or add functionality to customize the heck out of the new one. (And also fix the bugs)

@k129 Same for me, but in addition, sometimes when adding a new bookmark, usually on YouTube, after navigating to another video the bookmark name will be of the previous video.
To be precise:
ā¢ Try to add bookmark of video, and cancel.
ā¢ Navigate to another video.
ā¢ Try to add bookmark current video, previous name should appear. -
@gwen-dragon Great! I have to wait a bit as I like to run stable though.
Vivaldi has such a good community, and when there are problems, they get fixed (mostly). I am eager to continue to use the bookmarking function as much as before (I have stepped down the use a bit due to these issues). -
@k129 Fortunately, Vivaldi has multiple ways of adding bookmarks.
- Add Active Tab on Bookmark Bar menu or Bookmark Menu
- Drag and Drop the padlock icon into the Bookmark Panel
