Solved Can't make calls with Google Voice

I have Google Voice extension in Vivaldi. When I try to make a voice call, the call seems to go (I hear the ringing sound) but then the line goed sead. I do not get an answer from the call receiver.
The same app works fine on Chrome and Firefox, I use Vivaldi almost exclusively and this lack is a serious annoyance. -
I've tried all the suggestions with no success.
Finally, today I cranked up my laptop and added the GV extension to Vivaldi on that and it WORKED!
I guess I'll have to check Windows settings or something. -
@kgash What if you disable the extension, which has negligible benefit in the first place? That would at least be your first point of troubleshooting, since voice.google.com should work.

Thanks. I tried disabling the extension but the phone call just rings twice and quits.

@kgash To any number? And you're saying that doesn't happen to that specific number on Chrome?
If so, consider anything that you've done in Settings/Privacy. It wouldn't surprise me, even though Hangouts is now disconnected from Voice, that the Hangouts check box there matters. I've unchecked none in the Google section.
If it's not that, make an exception for voice.google.com in your ad blocker.

Yes, I can call any number so far from Chrome and Firefox. When I call my cell from GV, it rings but there is no sound on the line. After about a minute I get the following message
I completely turned off my ad blocker.

There should be no variables left that would affect this, short of another extension used only in Vivaldi that happens to interfere (very unlikely).
Did it used to work in Vivaldi for you or is this something new you're trying?
Calls work fine for me in Vivaldi, though until a few weeks ago I was still using Hangouts for Google Voice (this is no longer possible).
Ultimately though, I went with this little app so calls weren't dependent on Vivaldi:

@kgash Why is "Broadcast IP..." deselected? It's not the default setting.
Also have you tried if it works in a clean profile?

@kgash I think the best solution is the one provided by @rseiler
Several google services may work or not with Vivaldi, so using an external app is probably more reliable solution. -
@Pathduck Yikes, I didn't even see that! I bet that's it.
I don't think the tracking one (being checked) is a default either, but I doubt that's it.
