Several fixes – Vivaldi Android Browser snapshot 2261.3
-
I will have to check it out a bit further but this morning I was looking for something in Wikipedia and Vivaldi got stuck on Wikipedia search after that! I ended up going to DuckDuckGo.com to finish my original search - but didn't have time to investigate why I couldn't make Vivaldi search in anything but Wikipedia from the address bar (including typing "d [search term]").
-
This all being nice and well, when can we expect Vivaldi to support the Android Autofill API?

@infosrefanvlad Send the report anyway.

Feature, or bug?
Copy to notes, in Android just copies the selected text and not the URL of the page it was copied from.
Is it normal?

Agree about reinstating the ability to disable grouping tabs by default. One issue with tab groups right now is that in order to see how many tabs I have open at present, I have to go to the tab switcher view and click on a tab group to see how many tabs are in that group, which is a pain as compared to just reading it off the number in the box that leads to the tab switcher view.

Tab groups are still enabled by default and cannot be disabled. I think it would be better to implement tab stacking similar to the desktop version instead of using Chrome's tab groups. Or at least reinstate the ability to disable it.
Tab groups UI is truly a horrible mess on mobile IMO. I am used to using the tabs button and closing the first tab (I disabled the tab bar since it takes up too much screen space yet with only a couple of tabs visible it's still too small to be useful). Now I am constantly stopping myself from closing all tabs since the first "tab" is actually a group of everything I have open!

I'd be surprised if mobile tab stacks are not in the feature pipeline.
With a few UI improvements, they could actually be useful. Maybe if we could optionally display only tabs in a stack, and create stacks in the tab switcher (because the poor thing is useless to me and my 500 tabs without proper stacks, or at least configurable number of columns in tab switcher )... We could bookmark tabs in bulk like on PC... It could actually turn out neat if designed well.
Plus, I kind of dislike tab groups showing up every second version but never being fully usable and never being here to stay.
I should seriously consider checking whether there's a feature request, or writing one.
