[Solved] HTML5 sound not working?
-
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_video.asp https://www.w3.org/2010/05/video/mediaevents.html And same with HTML5 videos on youtube, flash works fine though! Anyone else have this problem? If I play it with Opera 12, Firefox or Chrome or I download the video and play it with my media player it works fine. The volume button is disabled. See attachment ::EDIT:: I found the culprit! I had set FFDShow to handle AAC audio in DirectShow players but apparently Vivaldi does not play nice with FFDShow. So after changing it to Windows' own codec for AAC audio, it works Attachments: ,

What does the "defaultMuted", "muted" & "audioTracks" say for you?
Youtube sound started working after complete reinstall of Vivaldi, but still no sound in most HTML5 videos

::EDIT::
I found the culprit!
I had set FFDShow to handle AAC audio in DirectShow players but apparently Vivaldi does not play nice with FFDShow. So after changing it to Windows' own codec for AAC audio, it works :oops:
My bad, but thanks for the help!
