YouTube HTML5 player fails when the video format is of a certain type
-
Certain videos on YouTube will fail to play using the HTML5 player with a message "An error occurred. Please try again later." I used the "copy debug info" link in the HTML5 player and found that the videos that won't play use a "fmt" code that shows it's trying to use the VP9 codec. EDIT: I just found a video in that format that does play. So it looks like I was wrong about "fmt" being the issue. Here is a YouTube video that plays: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZnKIPfIhAQ and one that fails: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kj958TZ_lX0

The video that was failing is now working properly in build 380.2

Same problem here. I'm using the Magic Actions extension for YouTube, and if I force the player to use flash it will play the videos. If I use HTML5 it rarely plays the videos.
