Is vivaldi web browser safe?

Hi everybody,
I have just started using vivaldi for a while so I don't know much about it. Can you help me with its usage and security? Safe mode for my privacy or not? In order to use it easily for the job, are there any tips for using it applied? -
@AbelPearson Welcome to Vivaldi! I'm not sure what you mean by "safe mode." Do you mean "Google Safe Browsing." And are you more worried about privacy or security?

If you avoid untrusty sites half of the work is already done. Vivaldi is safe as any other chromium browser.

Use Vivaldi://experiments and try the mail client
Set cookies to session only and use a password manager
Check the privacy settings and maybe set history to one month
Get a css mod from the forum or GitHub
Use the window panel to search your tabs.
Try vertical tabs and maybe tab thumbnails
Use the notes panel with markdown -
