Solved Back button not working on mouse
-
I programmed my mouse's side buttons, one as Back, the other as Close. The Back button worked fine in my previous browser, but it doesn't work in Vivaldi. I tried swapping the functions between the two buttons, but the Back button still doesn't work. Does anyone know a fix for this or is this a feature that Vivaldi needs to work on?

Reset my side button to "No change". Now they work as Back and Forward, no problem. Thanks for your help. -
Back/forward buttons on mouse generally works for navigation by default in Windows and every other application, also on Vivaldi. Don't need extra software for mouse to configure it. Probably your software for mouse is doing something wrong.

As posted several times recently ... mouse software doesn't know what to do with Vivaldi's non-standard interface (the same was true of Presto). If you can use what's normally the Back button and just set it to "System default" it should work fine, if you set it to their Back you may get doubles (back 2 pages) or it may not always work. If you really want a different button as Back ... well, see if you can map it to the usual Back button (might be called "button 4") rather than to their Back function. Not having your mouse software to look at, I'm not certain.

V doesn't respond to my Logitech MX Master 3 mouse left/right scroll wheel. This is a standard function not an 'Options' programmed one. The same page scrolls fine in Firefox. The forward and back are working fine.

@Gwen-Dragon There is a separate wheel on the MX3. It always used to work in V with or without their software.
