Google Meet blur background

I don't have this option in Vivaldi which I do find in Chrome.
Vivaldi and Chrome are updated to the latest version.
Hardware acceleration is enabled and I'm using the 64 bit version of Vivaldi.Do other people also don't have this option?

@frank-vanedom Please explain more clearly what you mean. Not everyone is an insider who understands immediately.

Work laptop:
As you can see in Chrome there's an option "achtergrond wijzigen". This is an option to change the background while in a meeting
This is a screenshot of Vivaldi without this option.
I've also tried this on my private pc and here the option is also visible (Chrome and Vivaldi).
Vivaldi has the same settings and plugins (loaded from my profile), so there must be something blocking this.I've checked the settings on Google and everything seems to be ok.

Google likes to keep some "neato" features available only to Chröme users. Makes complete business sense - why should they even let competitor browsers use their services - it won't be long before they can just block users if they are not using The One Browser to Rule Them All.
That's Capitalism, Baby!

or maybe it's because Vivaldi is still 32 bit? because I thought Vivaldi identified itself as Chrome nowadays..

@Gwen-Dragon I too am on 64-bit OS, but the Vivaldi process is 32-bit..
Ok, I just checked the download page and see that there is indeed a 64-bit build (haven't downloaded for ages). I assume I just clicked download and it used to default to 32-bit..? so yeah, probably not the reason then though -
so, i switched to 64-bit. I normally start a google meet from gmail. When i do it there, I only get a blank page, nothing!
Then I surfed to meet.google.com and started a meeting there , lo and behold, background blur works!
so, i'm not sure if it's because i use it via meet.google.com or not, but in any case, it is possible to work on vivaldi nowbtw: i am using exactly the same (old) vivaldi profile, so nothing changed there (using standalone install)

Yeah, its the problem in Vivaldi with Google Meet. Even Microsoft Edge based on Chromium allows to change the background like it does in Chrome browser. Also I wanted to add that I can't share my screen in Vivaldi browser [screenshot attached]. So even though I use Vivaldi as my default browser, I had to hop into Edge for using Meet.

I posted the issue in the forum some weeks back but I couldn't find it now, may be it was deleted by the moderator. Hope the Vivaldi Team fixes this issue because it wasn't an issue 6 months ago.

Hi again. I am happy to reply that I have solved this issue. I tried creating a different profile and checked if sharing screen and background change works there and to my surprise, it did. So, I backed up the current profile, deleted all the user data and started fresh again. Now I can confirm that the issue has been solved. Thanks.
