Don't show speed dials on Start page

Update & Summary : For minimal Start Page

The Speed Dial status of a folder can be removed
via top navigation bar🡭 , bookmarks folder🡭, or via the details panel of the folder🡭
vivaldi://settings/search/ for toggling the search field
vivaldi://settings/startpage/ for removing the add button🡭, and the top navigation bar🡭
(if using select > go to, then thereafter press Ctrl + L > Enter)

In context of new tab page (ntp) under vivaldi://settings/tabs/ Is there an option to not show the Speed dials {all those folders and their thumbnails etc} on the Start page. So that only the search field is shown? I know the top navigation bar can be hidden.

It will become something like this - for those that want an example:

You can go through all the SD folders you have & by each untick the Speed dial box.

just remove them all, Speed dial is just a special bookmarks folder.

oh gosh, how did i miss it. it's there in settings :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_cold_sweat: - i had already checked settings like 10 times. Thanks for pointing it out. Got it now.

Thanks all for helping out. i guess this can be moved to "Support & Troubleshooting" group and closed from my side. (dont know if posts here are closed or not, so, just giving green flag from my side).

Ofc the improvement can always be done - like the search field can be made bigger, and a button can be given which disables all speed dial folders in one go (so they can be restored in one click later) etc. But that's not a soo major concern to me, so, will leave it upto some other enthusiastic person to pick the idea up . Thanks a lot again (:

@yashpalgoyal1304 All speed dials can be disabled in one go. Right-click on the speed dial folder in bookmarks, and remove it from Speed Dial.

@Pesala i had multiple folders as speed dial - so, i had to remove multiple folders. amh, i guess u had only one folder as speed dial, right?!
