Solved Vivaldi Crashes on all Videos with Media Feature Pack Installed on Windows 10 N 20H2
-
I have Windows 10 N 20H2 installed. I also have the Media Feature Pack installed.
Regardless, Vivaldi complains about it not being installed upon start up and crashes on any page that has a video.
All my other browsers work without issue.
This maybe my 10th time attempting to ditch the other browsers in favor of Vivaldi, but despite years of development, in every attempt there remains some crippling function that completely renders Vivaldi incapable of regular usage.

Thanks for the help.
I was successful in fixing by uninstalling the Media Feature Pack, restarting, re-installing, restarting again.
This is great as I really want to avoid using moz://a due to their new stance against free speech.

That "N" is a big problem with media codecs, I'm sorry for you.
Try following the instructions here, also additional VP9 and other codecs must be manually added, apparently the media pack isn't really including everything, see the text:
"Install codecs and other multimedia functionality
After installing the media feature pack, it’s good to install all the other functionality missing from Windows 10 Version 20H2 N/KN editions. Here are the links from Microsoft Store:"

you can't blame Vivaldi for this, but Microsoft for not giving you the codecs with your crippled Windows version. In my Windows 10 Pro at work there is no such problem. Maybe try to upgrade your Windows version?
