How I can export History and Bookmark?
-
Hi
Is there anyway to manually export history and bookmarks from Vivaldi on a computer and import it to another Vivaldi on another computer? I don't want to use Sync and I want to know if I can do this manually.
Best Regards

Thanks for help. I didn't see that option.

@afshin-pir The History is a SQLite database file which could be inspected/extracted/changed by SQLite3 database tools or SQLite browser.
But i have not much experience with the database and so you should wait until some person with more internal wizdom will help you.
Yea I wait to see if someone could help me for it. it was great if we could export it like bookmarks.

@afshin-pir //EDIT: I apologise, i forgot to tell you the easiest way to get history and bookmarks into new Vivaldi browser profile.
A. Save the files
History
andBookmarks
from old profile or the complete old profile folderDefault
to a extra folder/USB stick/a place outside the old profile folder
B. import history + bookmarks into new Vivaldi:- Open menu File → Import Bookmarks and Settings → Vivaldi
- Untick all except History + Bookmarks
- Select in Windows file dialog the folder where your old History Bookmarks files reside
- After import (Ready is shown in popup) close the popup
- Restart Vivaldi
Tested some minutes ago on Windows 10 with 3.5 Stable and 3.6 Snapshot.
I should test from sometimes existing features if they work smoothly.
Thanks a lot. I will try it right away.
