1Password Extension Error in Vivaldi
-
The 1Password Browser Extension was working previously, but today it is giving me a code signing error. I am not sure if Vivaldi supports code signing. Here is the message: Vivaldi is connected but its code signature could not be verified. Filling and other features are disabled until this configuration issue is resolved. I tried the suggested troubleshooting but it did not work. Does Vivaldi support code signing?

I guess the answer is "Vivaldi does not support code signing." I got the extension to work buy disabling code signing in 1Password. this is less than optimal. Does Vivaldi plan to support code signing in the future? People have been asking about this for quite a few months.
The app overall is nice. I find it more stable than Opera. The last few months Opera has been a lot of trouble for me and it quit working with 1Password out of the blue a few weeks ago. Vivaldi is obviously beta still, but it's pretty darn good as it is right now.

Working alright for me.
Have you tried disabling "Verify browser signature" on 1Password?OS X 10.11.2
Vivaldi 1.0.357.5 (Beta)
1Password 5.4 -
I've had the same problem - and, yes, disabling the browser signature verification in 1Password seems to get everything working. But doing so doesn't really leave me with a warm feeling. It wouldn't be that difficult to set up code signing the releases and it's good practice.

Sorry for the troubles, it's something happening on 1password side. Feel free to contact their support: https://support.1password.com/

I'm new to the Vivaldi forums so if there is a way to mention people in this thread (so they get a notification) I don't know yet what it is.
Metl_Mann, HappyNacho & brokenlogic. The issue was never with the Vivaldi browser and I have no reason to believe it hasn't always been signed. 1Password contains a list of verified code signatures and it is this list that we compare against. The cause for the message you've been seeing is that 1Password does not know about this exciting browser.
If you're still interested in having browser code signature verification can I offer the suggestion of checking out the beta version of 1Password. You can move from the stable version to the beta by opening up 1Password's preferences, switching to the Updates tab and ticking the checkbox titled Include beta builds. If you then force an update check, available via the menu option 1Password > Check for Updates… it will offer you the latest beta. As of 6.2.BETA-1 1Password is now aware of the Vivaldi browser and can verify its signature.
If you have any questions please do ask and I'll do my best to answer.

Thanks LittleBobbyTables from AgileBits aka @1Password for joining and making it possible to for 1password to work with Vivaldi!
Currently people have to subscribe to a thread to receive updates but it will change with the new forum that we're close to release where it'll be possible to mention them. We're going to push that information further so that it reaches as many users as possible!

1Password official twitter said that Beta App has supported Vivaldi. So, I think 1Password extension will be able to use on Vivaldi at an early date.

Vivaldi support is now available in the beta version of 1Password (you need both the 6.3 beta version of the 1Password app and the beta version of the browser plugin). No need to disable the code-signature checking anymore (safer).
[ol]
- Go in the 1Password app's Preferences > Updates : tick the Include beta builds checkbox and then check for updates, it should ask you to install the 6.3 beta version.
- To install the beta browser extension go here : https://agilebits.com/onepassword/extensions, click Enable betas button and install.
