  • Hello, please fix the fullscreen problem with flash videos. It is pretty annoying that going in fullscreen does not put you in fullscreen mode.

    Hello,

please fix the fullscreen problem with flash videos. It is pretty annoying that going in fullscreen does not put you in fullscreen mode.

We are aware of this problem but it looks like it's not on all Linux desktops. I'm on straight Ubuntu with Unity and can do fullscreen without problems. Same on Mint with Cinnamon. Are you on Lubuntu or a desktop using Openbox or another WM?

  • I am having this issue aswell, however i have noticed it on differente sites, youtube works fine with fullscreen, however some other sites doesn't work.

  • I am on xubuntu 14.04 with the xfce that comes with it. From what I have experienced the problem is only with flash videos. Since youtube and twitch switched to html5 there are no more problems with them. Main problem from me is that as double monitor user is that even if I am in full screen mode I can't do anything on the second screen. As soon as I click with the mouse full screen mode is closed. No problems with other browsers there.

Can confirm this issue on an up-to-date Arch Linux install as well. Also does not happen with HTML5 here, only flash. Just a "me too" post ;)

  • Antergos here, previously Manjaro, (always Gnome) and the issue stays the same.
MLB.TV is the only flash video of my interest, so I hope the Vivaldi guys will fix it before opening day 2016 (107 days at the time I'm posting this)

  • No Video in Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa Mate.

  • On Linux this It is a issue with ffmpeg and not with Flash ;)
    That will be fixed.
