Nextcloud CalDAV can't log in
-
I'm having the same issues and the same results as you. I use my Nextcloud with eM Client just fine, but Vivaldi doesn't want to cooperate.
-
I can confirm it doesn't work if I'm logged into my nextcloud on another tab. As soon as I log out there vivaldy finds all calenders at https://<mynextcloud>/remote.php/dav/calendars/<username>/
@vivaldi please fix this apparently old bug.

Hi there,
Same here : could not have the connection until I log out from my nextcloud (calendar!) tab.
Might be some external limitation since this nextcloud instance is not mine. -
I'm seeing the same problem. I currently have 2 logins on my nextcloud (shared calendar and private). If I login on the shared I cannot add the private anymore. Caldav synchronizer works .

This bug is silly, hope it's addressed soon. In order to add my nextcloud caldav, had to logout from my nextcloud account, then add the calendar. It worked. It also seems to be working fine once logged in, even after logging back in on my nextcloud. Hope it doesn't bork further.

@ra-mon I can confirm this. Thanks!

Nextcloud connectivity issue should be fixed now. The fix should be included in upcoming snapshot build.

Thanks for the good fix, @arnar
NextCloud CalDAV sync works fine now, even when logged in, in another tab!

I'm on 4.3.2439.44 (Stable channel) stable (64-bit) and am still having this problem. Soon as I log out of Nextcloud tab, calendars work

@ra-mon I am having continued issues with CalDAV and Nextcloud. DavX5 works without problems on Android, but Vivaldi still can't seem to get it right. When I enter the CalDAV URL, I receive the message "No calendars found".
CalDAV Url: https://<URL>/nextcloud/remote.php/dav/calendars/<USERNAME>/personal/
Like in DavX5.Same if im using "https://<URL>/nextcloud/remote.php/dav/calendars/<USERNAME>/"
Im struggle with it so many years now, what is the problem here? What can i do to help with this issue to be fixed?

Just tested from scratch here with Vivaldi 5.8 snapshot on Linux Mint and Nextcloud 25.0.3 (Calendar 4.3.1) : CalDAV sync works fine.
I use this type of url (you can just copy it by clicking the calendar name modification icon, then the "copy private link" button) https://<server>/remote.php/dav/calendars/<user>/<calendar_name>/

Use this URL in Vivaldi:
https://<server>/remote.php/davIt should automatically discover the CalDAV service using the provided username and password
