Since Android 11 vivaldi (and almost all chromium based browser) can no longer open links in external apps. When you click on a link for example to a reddit page or a youtube video, vivaldi can not open it in the corresponding app. Since Android 11 browsers need the permission to see other apps. For more information have a look here:
      https://developer.android.com/about/versions/11/privacy/package-visibility
      and here:
      https://developer.android.com/training/basics/intents/package-visibility#all-apps
For even more information you can follow Brave browsers GitHub here:
      https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/12330

Please enable this new permission for vivaldi to fix this issue for android 11 users. Thank you in advance.

I also have this issue and reported it. Have you reported this as a bug?

Does anyone else still have this issue? I've had it for at least a few months on Vivaldi for Android with my Samsung Galaxy S21, where if I go to a Reddit page, it won't let me open it in the Reddit app. I click the website button to open in the Reddit app, but then my phone only gives options to open in other browsers, not the Reddit app. When I click the same link using Microsoft Edge for Android, it immediately opens in the Reddit app as expected.

Hi, there is a setting since a while to not open links in an app:
                "Stay in browser"
I cant remember if this is the default setting, check it.

                Cheers, mib

My "Stay in browser" setting is disabled. I haven't looked at the settings in a long time, so I'm assuming that's the default.

Hi, I m sorry, I cant test Reddit.
Can you test this with Youtube, for example?

                    Cheers, mib

Strangely enough it's working as expected today with the same links I was testing last week. Not sure what to think lol.
