@mib2berlin Change your mind about Oceania, please.
There is so much fun on the right side of life.

@hlehyaric But i understood you suggested Onorm that Steffie likes beer instead of tropical cocktails.
Oh, understanding foreign languages and cultures are not so easy for me ol' gal as decades before.

@Gwen-Dragon I suggested Ornorm Belgian beers instead of cocktails. Nothing to do with Steffie or Australia . Kind of private joke, my mistake.

@hlehyaric Well Dep.of Justice and court were eating his for a short time but then Balmer & lobbyists freed him so that he can build toilets now in India.
My opinion: Why would anyone in their right mind use a Microsoft program on Linux? Utter madness.
Very well said! Totally crazy to use anything MS puts out!
@tosim , makes more sense than using Chrome or Opera (current version) on Linux, searching with Gargle and posting in Fakebook.

@Hadden89 Oh damn you! I was already living on the edge with the other recent posts here [don't worry about your confusion Lilo, i have no doubt that in some mysterious way it was probably all my fault, again], then this one made me choke on my muesli & have a coughing fit. You monster!
Edge on Linux...
- Well it is terribly Fast but FF and Vivaldi are both Syncing and have extensions to load
- Has an option to prevent sites from exfiltrating what is in your Clipboard cache
- Has option to clear cookies, cache, etc on exit
- Has no Menu Bar
- Privacy options ~
- Must login to Chrome Play Store
- Tab controls
We'll see how things go.
Microsoft + Chromium, what could possibly go wrong?
@greybeard , In Windows 10 I open EDGE, I go to Search Engines settings.
Search Engine is Bing. I click on Change Search Engine, the MS page opens with the help, they say 'Select the search engine from the list in EDGE.
List of Search Engines in EDGE, Only Bing and no option for change
@Catweazle I agrree. There needs to be improvement in that area. As I use Bing as a primary search engine (I find its results most relevant to my requests) it is not so much of an issue with me.
@greybeard , same privacy and filter bubble problem as in Google and less results. Search engines that in my searches do not offer neutral results, instead of adapting to my preferences, they do not serve me. Just like asking someone who always agrees with me, even though I'm not right

I was looking through available extensions (beta) and did find one for Ecosia and DDG. Not sure how their extension system works but I'd be surprised if there were not more coming.
I want Edge to get better, so I help out. Report bugs and so on. You can choose your search engine, even DuckDuckGo. Choose address bar on "Search on new tabs uses search box or address bar" you search in other search engines. You can even delete Bing, if you don't want it.
I actually like the New Tab, better than speed dials, for I can have a nice Favourites Bar with all folders on it with drop down pages. I'd be quite happy to get rid of speed dials, and get back to favourites Bar, in Vivaldi/Opera. You can't sync yet, but most probably will be able to, after a final release.
