Having problems using the Find in Page function (Ctrl + F)

Hello forum members, I was wondering if anyone else has been having problems with using the Find in Page function, which is better known as using Control + F. I have been dealing with the problem of the command not working at all and has persisted over the last couple of months of updates for the snapshot version of Vivaldi browser. I tried resetting the shortcut along with using a different key bind entirely, but nothing has worked.

I haven't had the time to try using the stable version or try using a clean install, but I thought I should voice my concern anyway to see if I am not the only one having problems. Maybe someone else has the time to try to reproduce the issue in a standalone install.

Hopefully, if others are experiencing the same issue, the problem can be fixed soon. I'll try a standalone install eventually, but hopefully, it will be fixed before I have to try.

Most likely it's an extension, mod or keyboard setting interfering. Maybe even something on your OS is blocking the key combination.

@Pathduck Thanks for replying. After trying a fresh install and messing around for a bit, I decided to take a deeper look into if my Vivaldi settings were causing the issue. I found that I had somehow disabled the keyboard shortcuts from working without myself realizing it. All fixed now, what a relief!
