BUG: Column sort doesn't work on worldometer
-
www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries contains a spreadsheet, or table, with various Coronavirus statistics for different countries. Each column of the table has a sort command with icon at the top of the column to sort the table on that particular column. For example, you can sort the column "Deaths /1M Pop" and see that, as of Oct. 21, 2020, San Marino has had 1,237 deaths per million people, the highest rate of 217 countries listed, and the United States, 684, the 10th highest rate.
With my version of Vivaldi, 3.4.2066.76 under Windows 7 Sp1, 32-bit, The columns sort command doesn't work. When you click the command, the icon changes but the table remains unchanged.
I found the command to work on Internet Explorer 11.9.170 (once I got the page to load), Chrome 86.0.4240.75, and Firefox 81.0.2.
It did not work in Opera 12.18 or Opera 72.0.3815.148.

@northmadison Your link is broken because you missed the "s" from "https:", but the Worldometer table sort works fine for me, even in Opera 12.18 (though one has to accept some certificates to load the page).
Vivaldi's built-in ad-blocking is enabled.

@northmadison Try the site using a Vivaldi 'private' window. If you have extensions installed into Vivaldi, one or more of them may interfere with the scripting functionality of that site, and a private window contains no extensions. I use several privacy extensions in my regular Vivaldi window, and that site's initial data table is essentially unuseable/unviewable in it because of one/several of my extensions... but the site works 100% (including the column-sort function) within a private window. I'm running Win10-2004 and Vivaldi 3.4.2066.76 (Stable channel) (64-bit).

You also missed the last
s
so the URL isworldometer.info
which is a domain squatter site... always check yer linksBut yeah, the site and table works fine here, last Stable on Win10.

I tried to correct it soon after I posted it but got an error message:

@Blackbird I tried both a private window and turning off all my extensions in a regular window. It made no difference. I could not get any of the columns to sort even though the arrow icon did light.
-
I uninstalled and reinstalled. That made no difference.
The problem occurred in Vivaldi and Opera. It did not occur in IE 11, Chrome, and Firefox. With 32 bit Win SP1, what is common among IE, Chrome, and Firefox and between Vivaldi and Opera?

Works with: 3.3.2022.35 / 3.4.2066.86 / 3.5.2080.3
Windows 10 1909 (18363.1139)
Maybe some awkard issue on 7 sp1 x32... no clue. -
@Gwen-Dragon
Vivaldi: 3.4.2066.86 (Stable channel) (32-bit)
Opera: 72.0.3815.148I noticed something else possibly of significance.
The table in the web pages includes some table selection commands for continent, Europe, Africa, etc. Those commands work in Opera and Vivaldi. The page also includes a drop box for selecting and omitting columns. Those commands work in both browsers. Why would those commands work but the column sort commands not work.

I noticed something else.
The column headers with the sort commands are not just ordinary column rows. When you scroll down the page, the header row floats over the table so you can see the headers where ever you are in the table>

Seems to work properly for me in latest Snapshot (ver. 3.5.2080.3 (Official Build) (64-bit).
HP Pavilion laptop, i5, 16GB RAM
