White Ad Screen Youtube

I don't know why, but, for some time now, Youtube videos on Vivaldi have a white screen that appear to be an ad, with the 'Skip Ad' button, even using Vivaldi's built-in adblocker. This issue only happens with Vivaldi and only using Vivaldi's built-in adblocker. I've tried with other adblockers and other browsers and this issue doesn't exist. I've tried multiple filterlists, but none of them seem to make any difference. I was hoping to get support on how to solve this

@Gwen-Dragon I've read it. But I still don't know if there is any filterlist I can add or anything else I can do to solve this problem. Do you know what I can do?

@isaacjara17 I don't understand why it is a problem.

The built-in ad-blocker blocks the ads, which is what you want. There is a time at bottom left of the video that counts down to the end of the ad. By clicking Skip ads, you can go directly to the video.

What happens with other browsers and ad-blockers? Does the video immediately start playing without clicking the button, or is there no button?

I have never encountered this using ublock origin.just blocking the cosmetic placeholder is not enough as the connection needs blocking too.

If the timer is still seen on this whiteplaceholder then the connection has not been blocked and you may as well watch the ad.

UBO is the only blocker which gives a totally clean youtube experience.

@Pesala i don't even get the skip ad anymore,in fact i get no ads or other nonsense at all.Straight in to the video with nothing else or annotations.
