      New Model Y Launch

Launched in China, US, and now in the UK.

Rear badge, puddle light, doorsill plate woodmark, vegan suede for black interior, acceleration boost for all-wheel drive, Full Self-driving (Supervised), $59,990 (before tax credits). Order now in the US for delivery in March.

      Austin Gigafactory Tunnel

The Prufrock tunnel between the factory and the outbound vehicle lot (for final quality checks, and loading on transporters), is now open for use. This will save about a mile of driving via the roads around the Gigafactory site. We can expect that no driver will be needed later, as they can use FSD on private roads.

$TSLA share price is still relatively low, at only $412.38 on market close today, 24/1/2025.

        Q4 Earnings Call

$TSLA share price fell to $389.10 at market close on 29/1/2025, but after market rose back over $400 due to the positive announcements in the Q4 Earnings Call.

FSD (Unsupervised) is now being used at the Freemont Factory to move vehicles 1.2 miles from the end of the production line to the outbound vehicle lot. This will save costs, and allow employees to focus on production. It is only a matter of time before the Austin Gigafactory follows suit by moving the Cybertrucks through the tunnel to the outbound lot.

Unsupervised Paid Robotaxi Service will be launching in June 2025 in Austin, Texas.

          FSD Launched in Mexico

Full Self-driving (Supervised) is now available in Mexico.

Meanwhile, the $TSLA share price has fallen to $328.50, almost as low as it was on November 27th 2024 ($332.89).

Tesla just produced over 1,500 Powerwall 3s in one 24 hour period, up 50% from their previous peak of 1,000 three months ago.

The Megapack factory in China just started production, only about 10 months after the factory construction began.

@edwardp Full Self-driving cannot come soon enough. Only a human being can be daft or distracted enough to press the accelerator pedal instead of the brake pedal.

@edwardp Another recent case of a Tesla Driver pressing the wrong pedal? Incredibly, he got out and walked away, apparently uninjured. He may need to wash his underwear and buy a new car. I wonder which one he will choose? I think he should stick to one with FSD.

                  Real Soon Now

FSD is Coming - it has been delayed repeatedly, but is clearly improving. Cybercab will launch in Austin in June.

Model Y and Cybertrucks now use FSD to drive autonomously from the end of the assembly line to the outbound vehicle lot. This is about 2 miles for the Model Y via the private roads also used by other factory site traffic, and about 1 mile for the Cybertrucks, which use the Prufrock tunnel under the Express Way.

$TSLA is more volatile than ever due to Tariff fears causing trade-wars. Up 22% yesterday, down 7.27 today. Up 500% in the last five years.

Last Chance to Buy $TSLA at a Bargain Price?

Shark Tank’s Daymond John says β€œBuy $TSLA, because it is going back up.

With $TSLA, you never know what will happen next week, next month, or next year. It has always been volatile, and is still well down on its all-time high of $488.54 on December 18, 2024. However, the future looks bright. Some key points:

                    • FSD (Unsupervised) is already in use in Tesla factories.
                    • FSD (Supervised) is amazing Chinese Tesla owners
                    • Robo-taxi service already being tested in Austin, Texas, by Tesla staff in the new Model Y. Official launch in June
                    • Tesla Energy is expanding fast
                    • A second Cortex AI supercomputer is being constructed at Austin
                    • Cybercab castings seen at Austin
                    • New, cheaper, models due for launch in Q2
                    • Tesla Semi-truck mass production soon at Gigafactory Nevada

                      Mainstream Media Lies

The Tesla (TSLA) board of directors reportedly opened a search for a new CEO to succeed Elon Musk. Tesla stock fell overnight. (Wall Street Journal)

$TSLA investors need to keep calm whenever they read negative news like this in the mainstream media. The article was false, but it caused the stock price to fall.

                      Tip: Buy the dip.

                      Tesla @Tesla on 𝕏
Earlier today, there was a media report erroneously claiming that the Tesla Board had contacted recruitment firms to initiate a CEO search at the company.

This is absolutely false (and this was communicated to the media before the report was published).

The CEO of Tesla is Elon Musk and the Board is highly confident in his ability to continue executing on the exciting growth plan ahead.

                      – Robyn Denholm (Chairman of the Tesla Board)
