Forcing a tab or a webpage to connect through specific network interface

Hi,

is it somehow possible to force a tab or a certain webpage to connect through a specific network intereface? I need to connect to my work's intranet page but I don't wanna channel all my internet traffic through the work's VPN, so I'm connected to the VPN only on a specific network interface.

@martinsebok I don't think that this is something that you can work around at the application level. What you really need to do is configure split tunnelling on your VPN client, so that work-related network connections go through the VPN, other connections do not.
