dev-tools/network not working with localhost-websites

dev-tools work fine.
dev-tools/network work fine with websites on the internet.
dev-tools/ with websites in localhost work fine.
dev-tools/network with websites on localhost (website development) does not work. No response, no action, nothing. Ctrl-R -> nothingNow, Chromium dev-tools/network with websites on localhost just works fine!
vivaldi-snapshot dev-tools/network with websites on localhost just works fine!There is one difference in the dev-tools/network tab. vivaldi-stable shows four additional checkboxes ("use large request rows", "show overview", "group by frame", "capture screenshots") which I cannot find nor in Chromium neither in vivaldi-snapshot. I have no clue whether the availability of those checkboxes is configurable, and if and how it could effect the access to localhost websites. Anyway it is the only difference I can see.

@michaa7 Seems to work fine here, tested a basic HTML file in Nginx on localhost.
Check your Devtools settings, make sure you're not hiding anything or only showing blocked requests.
vivaldi-stable shows four additional checkboxes

I remember a bug where Ctrl+R fails with undocked window.
Aye, that's probably it. Also V crashes when docked back to the side and closed...

@michaa7 Dev Tools Dev Tools or as window? I remember a bug where Ctrl+R fails with undocked window.
That's what causes the problem here. This bug persists (i.e. dev-tools as a window does not work with localhost websites. Works fine when used in the sidebar. AND it works fine even as a window when accessing a website on the internet! The bug (now?) is limited to local websites!
That's a bit unfortunate cause while developing, I now use to work with dev-tools in window mode for better overview. OTOH, I used the network tab only recently to look for the headers to get an idea what info I could find about cache-control in the headers. So I do not need it that often. Glad to understand the problem ... and how to circumwent it.
Thanks.

@Gwen-Dragon
Thanks for those clear words ... but it's sad, really. -
