Amazon website does not load completely
-
Amazon.com and .ca does not load correctly. Seems to be lots of issues with video and audio, but I am not there, simply the "regular" shopping website is all messed up, and I can't find a way to fix it.
I use a VPN which is disabled for Vivaldi, and all other websites do work well. Regards -
@Gwen-Dragon
no, it is off and I even added amazon - no blocking - in the exception window
-
@Gwen-Dragon I've checked point by point, done all that, still does not work. Amazon works on all other browsers, (Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Brave and Edge) but not on Vivaldi....

Renders on my end ok..linux32bit.

Render fast and flawless here (Spain), W10 1909 64, Vivaldi last stable and all ad-track block active.

@Saarinene First, clear cache and cookies for the domain in question. To avoid clearing all data, open Devtools (F12), go to the Application tab (it might be hidden behind the
>>
). Under Application > Clear storage, click "Clear site data". Then try to reload the page with Ctrl+F5.If this doesn't work either, go to the Network tab in Devtools, reload the page, then make a note of any blocked or failed requests (in red). Right click the request, copy > link address, paste here in a code block.
Also go to the Console tab and note any warnings or errors there (you can copy them with mouse selection).

Amazon.com and Amzon.ca load correctly here (Canada). At least for me.
Using extensions: Privacy Badger, nano defender and nano ad blocker. Some ads are blocked but site(s) works properly. -
@Saarinene You're not crazy. Amazon hasn't been loading for me since the last Vivaldi update. Reloading Amazon (sometimes twice) usually resolves the issue. Still, it's annoying. Not just Amazon either. Sometimes when there's heavy traffic or my CPU is taxed beyond normal (another note I see someone complaining about re: Vivaldi) this also happens on a number of similar sites.
Amazon is extremely taxing on a browser as well. Besides feeding you a million ads (80-90% blocked, thank God), they're reading 20-30 cookies w/all the info they know about you, what you looked at last, what web site you came from ad infinitum. So, IF there is a glitch in the last upgrade (re: CPU usage went way up message in forum) that would massively slow Amazon and similar sites to the point it just renders the page w/o the css info. (It looks like it didn't load... it did, just not how they wish you to see it.) Seems folks are gaslighting about this glitch. (i.e. Nope, works here, you must be crazy) Vivaldi will fix it in a hurry as they don't want this problem. They'll lose users by the dozens if it lasts long. It is a great browser, but things go wrong...
