Vivaldi opens tabs on the left differently using Workona
-
I've started using Workona to manage my tab "sessions". I see different behavior when the tabs are displayed on the top vs. the left (my default). If I have a session containing these tabs, in this order:
https://www.vivaldi.com
https://www.workona.com
And I open the session, with the tabs on top in Vivaldi, the websites are opened in the proper order (vivaldi then workona). However, with the tabs on the left (using the Vivaldi setting), the tabs are open in this order (workona then vivaldi), which is backwards from what I want. -
@dmocek Unable to reproduce here.
What is your OS and Vivaldi version?

@Pesala OS is Ubunto 20.04 LTS, Vivaldi version is
Vivaldi 3.3.2022.45 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
Revision a05c4d885c8da0745ffe551e567e84b9fb6a5889

@Pesala The issue is the 'New Tab Position' setting in Settings. If you have the default, 'After Related Tabs', I do not see the problem. I am using 'After Active Tab'. The issue shows with this setting.

@dmocek Confirmed, but only if I open the saved session in the current window. The order is as expected if I open it in a new window.

@Pesala I see it in both cases...when opening in the current window and when opening in a new window.

Can you test with more than just two tabs prior to filing the bug? The variance in the order may help the devs determine the cause. 5 or so would be a good test, maybe with 3 or existing tabs as well just 1. I know I'd be interested in those use cases if I were investigating this.
