Behavior during Page Navigation using Tab Key
-
Dear all,
I know there is Spatial Navigation, but as I tested it, it does not work completely correct in my eyes. And as I am comfort with tab key navigation from other browsers (e.g., Firefox), I would like ask a question regarding the behavior of Vivaldi when navigating through a page using the tab key. (So, this is NOT about cycling through tabs, but going through elements of a web page!)
Can I configure on which elements Vivaldi will focus when using the tab key of the keyboard?
Background and behavior in Firefox:
When viewing e.g. this forum when using Firefox, I can choose NEARLY ALL (clickable/link-ed) elements, including the names of the forum members, the "Reply", "Quote", "Like" elements below each post, the more general "Reply", "Mark unread", "Not Watching", etc. below the thread, the general options above like "Categories", "Unread", "Recent", ... and many more elements inside the whole page.
In Vivaldi, it seems to be limited to SOME elements only. Why is this so (massively) different?
Can I somewhere adjust which elements Vivaldi will take into account (and where)? And yes, as written above, I tried Spatial Navigation. But even this will only allow you to choose the search button on top, but not necessarily the bell icon, the conversation icon of your own profile icon (or you can select one of the other mentioned elements but not the search bell). So, Spatial Navigation will not be able to help me here...

@patrickweiden All links are accessible via the keyboard, but not just with tab. You need to use Left/Right as well as Up/Down. Assign your own shortcuts to make it easier to remember.
Since I don't use spatial navigation, I prefer to use the most precious single-key shortcuts for commands that I do use frequently, such as show/hide Status Bar (S).

@Pesala Thanks for your answer, but as written inbetween, Spatial Navigation (I used the default shortcuts as shown in your picture) will NOT get me everywhere:
On a forum page, Spatial Navigation will not let me get correctly to the icons on top of the page where my profile is shown (the search glass, the bell, the chat icon as well as my profile icon). Or at least it may, but I am unable to do so... -
And another example: Even if I get with Spatial Navigation to "Unread", on pressing Enter I will end up with "Recent" (already highlighted in picture):

@patrickweiden What can I say? It works fine here.

@Pesala: I think I know the source of the problem. Please increase the page zoom in Vivaldi to 120% and try to use Spatial Navigation again. (I have per default 120%. Lowering it to 100% makes everything working great in this forum. So, I think, this is an issue with Spatial Navigation and Page Zoom...)
