FVD Speed Dial

Hello! I have chosen to use FVD Speed Dial in place of the Vivaldi Speed Dial page. Someone was kind enough to post the link for making this change. However, I don't understand what I need to do to make FVD speed dial stick as the default start page. I tried looking under settings to set the page a certain way bit no matter which option I choose, the page opens in FVD but it goes back to Vivaldi Speed Dial when I select new tab page. Can you guys help me figure this out? Thanks for your time. It's much appreciated!

I'm glad someone else is fed up with the Vivaldi speed-dial. I don't know your reasons but I suspect it's because of either syncing or more importantly the Vivaldi speed-dial bug of always losing dials. I think we should demand Vivaldi corrects this speed-dial problem before they do anything else.
