"Filter Invert" not working
-
Hi there, my beloved "Filter Invert" function does not work anymore in the new beta version (1.0.303.52 (64-bit); Fedora 22). It only inverts colors partially - many backgrounds remain white but get p.e. a yellow font color. Just check out the google example below. Best regards, nico

And still nothing happened... White as it was.

@andre_2000 The test case posted by Gwen seems to work for me. Which page are you looking at with "Filter Invert" ? Is this a Linux only issue?
Specs: AMD A10-6800K, 8 Gb on Win 10 64-bit β’Snapshot 1.16.1226.3 (64-bit)

Doesn't work by default on https://www.google.de/?gws_rd=ssl#q=vivaldi. Vivaldi 1.16.1226.3 (Official Build) snapshot (64-bit) on Ubuntu, I can't try this on other platform. The same issue e.g. on queer.pl
@gwen-dragon said in "Filter Invert" not working :
But someone said, adding a style in file
filter_invert.css
of Vivaldi resource folder may work:Indeed, that modification fix the problem on both sites mentioned above. Why this mod is not by default in css?
Thanks for your help

@andre_2000 Yes, the same problem on Windows for those sites.

Hi!
I can't find file filter_invert.css in linux now. Could you please give me a hint where this file is? In ~/.config/vivaldi or usr there is no file with that name.
Thanks in advance.

@Gwen-Dragon Thank You very much, yes indeed css was there but change to
html {
-webkit-filter: invert(100%) !important;
color: #ffffff; background: #000000;
}didn't help with filter_invert problem (e.g. wyborcza.pl)
Still white text on white background.
