Google search engine

I have been using Vivaldi for a while. I noticed some strange behavior recently. When I search in Google search engine, some of the search results disappear and some of them go down, until the phrase "do you mean" " appear and disappear quickly?
-
@maher13 I cannot reproduce the behaviour. What string did you search for?
I recommend that you use Search Engines that Respect Your Privacy.
-
@Pesala Which one do you suggest my friend
-
@maher13 Add all of the engines suggested in the above link, and see which gives the most useful results for you.
I use Ecosia, just to plant a few trees.
-
@maher13 Google is the search engine that offers the most results, which is why I mainly use Startpage, which uses the Google engine, but it is much more private, using its own proxie and don`t store data online, no Filter Bubble.
If you don't already have it in the list of Vivaldi search engines, you can add it by right-clicking on the search field and selecting 'Add as search engine', this adds it to the list with the necessary codes.
PD By default it has activated the search strict 'Family Safe' (no adult content), that you can deactivate in the configuration, if you want. -
@Catweazle
@Pesala
All these tips are really good and useful, But my main question is why this behavior only when I use Vivaldi and not other browser, Why "do you mean .............. " phrase disappear -
@maher13 , it can be a conflict of interest between a browser that takes care of privacy and a browser that does the opposite and thinks that the browser is Chrome.
I have no other explanation, apart from that there were already some conflicts between Vivaldi and Google in the past, which is why Vivaldi has been removed from UAstring. -

@maher13 , with Startpage
-
I really like these search engines that maintain privacy. But the two pictures that I previously posted them to the same browser "Vivaldi" . fisrt picture shown first then after an half sec the browser falsh and second picture shown
i made speling mistake On purpose -

Startpage doesn't have Google's full library of results. But don't take my word for it, here's a what happens when you search for Pesala's post (with quotes) in Google and Startpage. Google has one result, this page. Startpage has no results.
But there's another private search-engine that uses Google results: Searx. Searx uses search-results from other search-engines. The user can chose what engines to get results from, in the preferences. When set to use Google (and the Searx link I gave has a command to use Google), Searx shows this page same as Google does.
That said, Google results have been buggy on on Searx lately: Don't be suprsed if Google results fail to load at all.

My SearX instance is SearX/ninja
You mean Searx.ninja? The Google results there aren't working. But you can get instances with working Google results by going to Searx.space (the official list of Searx instances), and clicking the checkbox below "Google response time": That should filter out most of the instances that don't work with Google.
-
@Eggcorn , yes, right, the usual slash, sorry. Apart from this, I have always found what I was looking for, even without using Google, so I'm not too worried about it working with Searx or not either.
Specific things anyway I look for with corresponding specific search engines. In terms of images even Yandex shows more results than Google (it is one of the image search engines I use in the context menu) -
