1.chromium is open source and google adds their bits and pieces to it not the other way round.2.not controversial at all..It is making the work of extension developers easier by just developing for one standard,it has nothing to do with adapting chrome extensions for firefox,

@unknown81311 Yeah, no. That would be completely impossible.

@Gwen-Dragon I found out that both browsers use the same coding language once I learn more about the language I might try to do something but that is in a few years most likely.

@unknown81311 If I remember correctly: This is happening, but on Firefox's end rather then Vivaldi's. Firefox and Chrome are setting common extension standards, so that Firefox extensions will be compatible with Chrome (and presumably Vivaldi).
