Cannot setup Yippy search
-
I tried to set the Yippy search engine as a search plugin in the search bar, but it would not work that way. It does not seem much different from Qwant, which I was able to set up easily. Is there some syntax quirk which I need to use?

Go to vivaldi://settings/search/
Press plus button to add new search engine and type next:
Name: yippy.com (optional)
Nickname: yippi (optional)
URL: https://yippy.com/search?query=%s -
@Streptococcus If you want to add this search engine yippi, just right-click/second-click/crtl+click the search field on homepage and select
Add as Search Engine
in context menu. Assign it a nickname and you'll able to use it either from Vivaldi's address field and search field. You can also set it as your default search engine inSettings/Search/Search Engines
