Show full link when hovering over hyperlink?
-
Y'know, at the bottom left, like firefox
-
@codic Even better than showing the link info at bottom left or in the status bar would be to Show Link Info as a Tooltip.
-
@codic
Settings/Appearance/Window Appearance/Status Bar
, either enableShow Status Bar
orStatus Info Overlay
. -
I don't need the full status bar but the overlay works well. thanks!
-
@codic If you need it bigger:
.StatusInfo-Content { font-size: 16px !important; }
-
@codic And if you need it sometimes, set a single-key shortcut in Settings, Keyboard, View, such as "s", which will toggle between show status bar and show overlay.
To show your current Vivaldi and Chrome version in the status bar, insert the
emoji in the search field of Settings, and enable the option in biscuit mode.

Although the status bar is hidden (as I have done, putting all the icons above next to the address bar), a small Pop-up still shows the full URL when the pointer is placed on a link
