Options for blockings Ads / trackers don't work on local files
-
Hi there,
I've enabled blocking trackers by default, however when I try to allow this for local files, the options don't work. They don't even appear when I click on the url bar.
See an screenshot:
Thanks,

@inkoherence Hi,
The tracker blocker is only designed to work for files served from web servers, so it won't work with the "file:///" scheme.

I can understand that @LonM, but I think its behaviour is wrong regarding local files.
I mean, if it's not designed to work with local files, it should be always disabled for local files. But if the default ad block setting (browser wide) is enabled, it's also enabled for local files, and it can't be disabled without modifying the browser default setting. -
Might be a cosmetic issue, of the icon using its default status.
-
@Cqoicebordel it's not only cosmetic, as you can disable or enable blocking per specific (or general) local pages. The only possibility is to disable or enable blocking settings browser wide (from the browser settings).
