LastPass crashes Vivaldi on basic auth

Sometime after the last Stable build, Vivaldi started crashing on clicking basic auth links. (Reported it as a bug, yep).
Didn't get LastPass was causing it until a few more snapshot builds went without a fix. Tried disabling all extensions one by one, and then enabling them again until I got the crash.
I've read in the forums about problems with the binary LastPass causing crashes but i don't seem to have binary LP installed, and even when removing any lastpass traces from the PC and adding just the extension to Vivaldi, the crashes persist.
Anyone else experiencing this? (Tried to report as bug to Lastpass developers but they insist the problem isn't from their side, and at least in Chrome and Edge which are also Chromium-based, their extension doesn't crash the browser when clicking on basic auth links.)
Any hope for a fix?

I have one for Proxy Helper (VB-65003)
But I can confirm that crashes are happening again, now with other extensions as well (new ones were not added since the time of reporting).

@Gwen-Dragon Since I doubt it's broken in other chromium implementations, I have just informed vivaldi developers and disabled the extension for the time being.
It worked for some time, but either yesterday or today vivaldi started full crashing again every time when visited a website with basic auth. I think there is a larger underlying issue.

Wow - my LastPass has completely ignored basic auth for months, maybe years. No icon in the login fields, no appearance in the right click menu. In Vivaldi, Chrome, or Firefox, on Windows 10. Manually typing credentials works normally. How do you all get the basic auth problems to appear?
Maybe there are different versions of basic auth? The only one I see frequently is an ancient Linksys WRT54G router running Tomato firmware.

VB-65107. When I reported it I didn't have any idea yet that the LastPass was the culprit.

@Gwen-Dragon Crash dump(s) sent March 31. I can provide lots more of them, I've made a habit to check if it's fixed with any new build.
Simple test: clicking on https://jigsaw.w3.org/HTTP/Basic/ (with LastPass enabled, crashes Vivaldi x64 every time)
Environment: tested in Windows 7 and Windows 10, latest snapshots of Vivaldi x64. (Confirmed as not happening in 2.11.1792.3 x86 - I keep this version on an old laptop, and there basic auth works still like a charm. Could be x64-specific, not sure if it's worth switching to x32 to confirm...) -
… out of curiosity, switched to x32, tested and confirmed. Crashes just the same in latest snapshot (x32).

KeepassXC is the extension that is responsible for crashes this time. I guess I have to deactivate Basic Auth functionality....

i have same problem with activated ublock-origin addon. Vivaldi crashed every time when i open a website with BasicAuth.
