How to recover my encrypted password

Re: Windows encrypted password and data store (DPAPI)
Hi. I just want to ask you if there is a way to recover or to find out which is my encrypted password for Vivaldi. I preinstalled my windows and lost all passwords I have saved. I saw an option in Vivaldi for synchronizing but I do not remember my encrypted password.. is there a solution of this problem ?

Vivaldi does not store your encryption password or a derivation thereof anywhere. Thus it is impossible to recover it.
If you didn't specify an encryption password when you first synced it should use your Vivaldi account password by default, so try with that.

I tried but didn't work.. thanks anyway !

@DechkoOo The ultimate solution, then, is to reset your remote data and start over with a known encryption/decryption password.
-
Unless you've written it down somewhere (notebook, diary, cloud?) and can find it, I believe you are out of luck.

The price of security and privacy is that you are the only one who knows the password.
Bad business, it only remains to recover the log-ins one by one on the corresponding pages. -
I have a third-party password manager (Norton) and saved my encrypted sync password there. So, I managed to solve the problem, when my HD "was lost in space".
