Not able to share screen in Google Chat
-
I can login to Google Chat and instant message with co workers just fine using Vivaldi.
I can join video meetings and view other people screens via Google Chat with no problems.
The problem I have is when I initiate a video meeting via Google Chat I cannot present my screen.
Each time I go to present my screen in Google Chat the following error is displayed:Can't share screen You must grant permissions in order to share you screen. Select "Safari" > "Setting for This Website" to update permissions, then refresh the page.
Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks in advance.

Bumping this post because I still have the issue. Anyone have any ideas?
Do I need to tweak a //flags setting?

Hi, you can check padlock in address bar > Site Settings > Camera?
Default is "Ask" but may it have to set to "Allow" for initiate a Google Chat.
It is only guessing, I don´t use it.Cheers, mib

I did some testing with Google Hangout and I had to allow Camera permissions in order to share my screen. Maybe the same applies to Google Chat as well?

Adjusting the Camera permission to Allow in Google Chat fixed the issue.
Had to change notifications to Ask and Camera to Allow to get the camera notification. Thanks everyone.
