Forwarding a webpage from within the Vivaldi browser
-
Year ago I had a an extension that allowed me to send a webpage directly to someone without copying URL, opening e-mail, pasting the URL and sending. I am new to Vivaldi but can that be done using Vivaldi/Duck Duck Go?

Don't think this was ever built into Vivaldi, but you can use a chrome extension for this functionality:

The Checker Plus email alert extension does this, but it's only for Gmail.

@stevelay1 There is an easier way:
- Open your web-based email client in a new tab
- Start to compose an email message
- Tile the email message with the webpage that you wish to send
- Focus the webpage that you want to send
- Drag the badge from the URL and drop it into the email message.
This may seem like more steps, but it is often required to copy bits of text too, or to refer to the webpage while composing the email.
My default email client is in Opera 12.18, which I run on my secondary monitor. I can drag URLs or text from the primary monitor to the secondary monitor and drop them into the compose email window.
