Work perfectly on Linux but not on my W8.1

Hi, Thank you for Vivaldi

I would like to use the online conf system https://meet.jit.si/ with Vivaldi
but impossible to run it on
Always stuck at this big error message:

Jitsi needs to use your microphone and camera 
----------------------------------------------------
Select Allow when your browser aks for permissions.

I dit it !
I gave permanent permission !

Impossible to go ahead this message.

Hmm, jitsi works fine for me (at least my microphone; I don't have a webcam to test the video feed with).

I also had problems with Jitsi: Not the message described above, but still no sound (video) sent or received. Checking "Broadcast IP for best WebRTC Performance" (in Settings > Privacy > Do Not Track) helped. I think it is checked by default, but I probably unchecked it a long time ago.

@agroth It is. Unchecking that option may break some sites which need IP for broadcasts.

the behaviour is the same.

Flash blocked or un blocked, the same.

The same issue with a bbb instance :(.

Jitsi doesn't work for me either I always get a message (Lefthand corner, black on Yellow) telling me that the Mic could not be used for an unknown reason. Sometimes it says that the mic could not be found.
In the Jitsi Settings I connot chose my mic because "permisstion was nocht given" but the Permission is checked in the settings.

Jitsi works with Vivaldi... on Linux (Ubuntu 20.04)

And not on W8.1!

I have installed a dual boot. I run Jitsi Meet on W8.1 and Linux. It works only on Linux.

Sorry if I have had some bad things on Vivaldi which stayed my prefered browser
You cannot imagine how it is for me now :).

Have a fun time with Vivaldi.

Vivaldi, the browser to be used... whatever the seasons
