Pinterest web site somehow screwed up my Vivaldi browser

I have been using during the last couple of months Vivaldi browser because I very much like a couple of its features. Most likely a mischief caused by Pinterest web site which I had accessed for a few minutes somehow screwed up my Vivaldi browser. I could no longer access any of Vivaldi's tool bars or even my system bar! I tried several "usual" remedies, such as uninstalling and then newly downloading Vivaldi. Vivaldi "settings" provided no clue as to what the problem might be. All settings seemed to be unchanged from the past. I even went through the very long System Restore operation to go to a restore point of a week ago! (My program list in Control panel shows that Pinterest had never sneaked in their program in my computer. My antivirus program says that there is no virus problem.)

While I can obtain the systems bar for other browsers like Edge and Chrome, and those browsers work OK, Vivaldi still does not provide any of its tool bars nor even the system bar! All I continue to obtain is a Start Page for Vivaldi, including its Search window.

As a completely different strange problem that has arisen is that the Sound icon in my System bar has stopped working. (I can continue to control sound volume only through Control Panel > Sound.)

I shall much appreciate help in above both mutually unrelated issues. Thanks!

It may "just" be the full screen view - try pressing F11 which toggles between normal and full screen.

If that doesn't help then try a profile reset -

such as uninstalling and then newly downloading Vivaldi.

Not really much help doing that, as all Vivaldi settings are kept in a different folder.

If you can't access the Vivaldi menus, then you could try resetting your Vivaldi.
